Winnie Lee

When Winnie Lee joined Atlas Obscura as their Visuals Editor four years ago, she did not realize she'd be having so much fun assigning photographers to document an exploding snowman or the experimental playground of a fear lab. She also enjoys working with illustrators and designers on equally curious subject matter. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Winnie spent years primarily freelancing in print magazine publishing, after studying painting and photography at The Cooper Union in NYC.
