KEVIN MARTIN is the Visuals Editor at the Knoxville News Sentinel. Before moving to Tennessee, Kevin was a photo editor at the San Antonio Express-News and The Advocate in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Martin has covered the Kentucky Derby, Super Bowl, Indy 500, Masters Golf Tournament, BCS National Championship, Men's and Women's Final Four and the NBA playoffs.

He holds a master's degree in photography from The School of Visual Communication at Ohio University and a bachelor's degree in journalism from Eastern Kentucky University. He is also the incoming Associated Press Photo Managers President.

Martin is a former competitive facial hair champion, having won in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Knoxville. For now, he's just another clean shaven feller who loves playing the banjo.
