Participants of The Kalish are selected for their diverse levels of experience in picture editing, design, management and new media editing and presentation.
Note: The Kalish focuses on storytelling through visual judgment, not use of technology. However, you should have basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere and InDesign.
The registration fee is $695. Applications require a deposit of $100. Balance is due on April 30, 2013. (No refunds can be made after April 30.) To apply, fill out the form at left and use PayPal or mail a check to make a deposit.
Although the workshop is nearly full, we will accept applications after April 1. However, preference will be given to those who applied by the April 1 deadline. Scholarships are in extraordinarily high demand this year, thus competitive. We will make selections by mid-April and will be in contact with everyone who applied to the workshop. The Kalish offers ten $150 stipends off of registration. Anyone who states they need financial assistance on the application form and gives an explanation will be considered.
